California’s largest and longest-running free-gate fair is the pride of Caruthers.

What began as a two-day affair in 1923 has grown to be a beloved tradition for the city of Caruthers and the people who call it home. Family entertainment, exhilarating carnival rides, the sweet scent of delectable food — the Caruthers District Fair has been a source of incredible memories for more than 95 years.
